Fleet Coordinator                                                                                                                Pay Range: $70-80K annually
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team.  This role will serve as a key position within our Fleet Management team ensuring the smooth preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance of our large fleet of heavy-duty trucks, trailers and equipment. Must be able and willing to work collectively with drivers, mechanics, and management to ensure that the department meets critical organizational needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining schedules for vehicle maintenance and repairs.
  • Coordinating vehicle reservations, usage, and maintenance requests.
  • Monitoring and tracking vehicle inventory to ensure adequate supply levels.
  • Managing driver schedules and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
  • Communicating with drivers to ensure that they are aware of their schedules and responsibilities.
  • Working with mechanics to coordinate vehicle repairs and maintenance.
  • Performing periodic vehicle inspections to ensure that they are in good working order.
  • Coordinating with management to develop and implement policies and procedures related to fleet management.
  • Monitoring and analyzing fleet data to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Preparing reports related to fleet operations and presenting them to management.

Required:
  • High School Diploma, GED or higher and a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in fleet coordination, logistics or a related field.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, able to communicate with vendors, mechanics and other employees.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possess strong scheduling, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
Preferred:
• Prior inventory management experience.
• Familiarity with TMW or other Fleet Management software.
