Parts Coordinator                                                                                                                Pay Range:  $24-28/hr.
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team.  This role will serve as a key position within our Fleet Management team ensuring the smooth preventative, routine, and emergency maintenance of our large fleet of heavy-duty trucks, trailers and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ordering of all parts
    • Working side by side with shop management and mechanics to ensure all needed parts are ordered in a timely manner
  • Ensuring parts are billed to correct repair orders in a timely manner
  • Complete management of physical part inventory
    • Receive parts and update inventory records. Stock items by unpacking, arranging, and putting away items
    • Ensure all invoices are processed in accordance with company policy
  • Supply all mechanics with parts
  • Receive returned items by inspecting items, re-packing and re-shelving items, and returning damaged items to supplier
  • Ensure parts and inventory area is in good order and in accordance with all safety requirements
  • Communicate and maintain a positive relationship with all vendors and customers
  • Participate in all training programs that are made available.
  • Keep current on new products and product updates
  • Other duties as assigned
 
Required:
  • Experience with heavy duty trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment parts.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, able to communicate with vendors, mechanics and other employees.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Possess strong scheduling, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • High School Diploma, GED or higher and a minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience.
Preferred:
  • Prior Parts Room experience.
  • Familiarity with TMW or other Fleet Management software.
