Training Administrator                                                                                 Pay Range: $62-67K Annually

Position Overview:

As a Training Administrator at The DDS Companies, you will play a pivotal role in developing, coordinating, and delivering impactful training programs that promote safety, quality, and compliance across all business lines. This position is ideal for a hands-on, field-savvy professional who can bridge the gap between safety expectations and practical application in a high-performance utility construction environment. You will be primarily responsible for coordinating all aspects of our New Employee Onboarding (NEO) program and supporting ongoing training initiatives across all regions.

Key Responsibilities:
 
  • Lead the development, coordination, and execution of the New Employee Onboarding (NEO) program.
  • Build and maintain hands-on training props and materials for OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 training, ensuring realistic and engaging instruction.
  • Deliver in-person and classroom-based safety and compliance training across various job sites and office locations.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to assess training needs and address skill or knowledge gaps across divisions.
  • Provide instruction on the effective use of the Safety Management System (SMS) and other platforms used for compliance tracking and asset management.
  • Support foremen and field leadership in reinforcing training concepts and maintaining high compliance standards at the job site level.
  • Maintenance and tracking of training records using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and provide regular reporting to stakeholders.
  • Stay current on industry standards, OSHA requirements, and best practices to continuously enhance training programs.

Required:
 
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in safety, compliance, or workforce training, preferably within a utility contracting or construction environment.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering field-based or hands-on training in areas such as OSHA, DOT, or other regulatory programs.
  • Proficiency with compliance software platforms and asset management tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and influence cross-functional teams and field personnel.
  • Strong organizational skills and a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
  • Willingness to travel regionally as needed to support training efforts.

Preferred:
 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Prior experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • OSHA 500 Certified
  • CPR Certified
