Paving/Asphalt Foreman                              Base Pay Range: $32-$38/hr (NYS Prevailing Wage Eligible)

We are looking for highly motivated and talented individuals to join our dynamic team as a Paving/Asphalt Foreman.  Our Foreman play a vital role in the restoration on our natural gas infrastructure projects in and around Monroe County.  We are seeking an experienced leader, an individual equally comfortable with leading a team and working together with our Project Managers to complete these projects safely and efficiently. This position involves working outdoors in diverse weather conditions and will be responsible for ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Successfully lead restoration crew(s) in their day-to-day duties and responsibilities following all safety policies and procedures.
  • Take responsibility for the maintenance, cleanliness, and safe storage of company equipment and materials, ensuring their availability for project execution.
  • Follow instructions, guidelines, and industry standards meticulously to ensure the highest standards of quality, safety, and accountability.
  • Operate rollers, tampers, or similar equipment used in asphalt restoration skillfully, as required, to support the smooth progress of projects.
  • Utilize CDL-A license to transport equipment and spoils to and from job sites.
Required:
  • Prior experience running a paving/asphalt crew.
  • Must be able and willing to step in and assist crews performing the work.  You will get your hands dirty.
  • Ability to pass Operator Qualification Testing for Natural Gas work, demonstrating a solid understanding of safety protocols and operational procedures.
  • Possession of a valid CDL A Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Demonstrated physical capability to lift and move heavy objects, with a minimum lifting capacity of 100 lbs.
Preferred:
  • High School Diploma or Vocational training in a closely related field.
  • OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 Certifications.
  • Proficiency in operating rollers, tampers or similar types of equipment as needed.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends.
