Project Administrator Pay Range: 50-65K Annually
The Project Administrator with our Heavy Civil Construction group is a critical role supporting various project opportunities within the civil/sitework scope of construction. Working in a fast-paced environment, this office-based role will have primary oversight of the administrative functions required for successful completion of larger Civil residential, commercial, and/or industrial construction projects.
This position will be required to perform some or all the following functions:
- Project setup and organization
- Contract review and execution
- Request, review, and maintain project specific insurance requirements
- Create billing worksheets, review with Project Manager and submit AIA payment applications
- Complete lien waivers, including request/review of subcontractor lien releases
- Draft Subcontract documents, oversee subcontractor compliance and payment applications
- Resolution of subcontract and purchase order discrepancies
- Issuance of tax exemption certificates
- Monthly workforce compliance reporting
- Processing bond requests, credit card transactions, reservations and many more project specific tasks
Required
- Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven, and detail-oriented environment
- Ability to read and fully understand construction, subcontract and lien release documents
- Proficient in the use of MS Office products, MS Project, Timberline, and other project management software
- 3+ years related experience and/or training specifically in construction and project management
- College or vocational training in Engineering, business, or a closely related field
- Sage Timberline, COINS or other ERP system experience
